Register online now through the morning of race day! We recommend pre-registering through our website as it helps us better prepare for your participation and increases your chances of receiving an official race t-shirt and branded bib.
Join a Team
When you register online, you now have the option to create or join an existing team! This feature is perfect for running with your friends, family, church group, or organization. It’s a fun way to share the experience and cross the finish line together!
In-Person Registration
We get it. Sometimes you wake up and think, "Hey, I want to run a 5k today!" If that’s you, race day registration will be available at Maritime Park from 6:00 AM to 6:45 AM. Be sure to allow extra time for traffic and parking if you're registering that morning.

The Route

Course Description
"I was so impressed. The route was also incredibly beautiful. It has been one of my favorite courses I have ever completed." - Alexandra P. (Great Falls, Montana)
Each route of the Bridge2Bridge Run is intentionally designed to show off the scenic charm and historic gems of Georgetown County, starting at the iconic Rice Museum Clock Tower and winding past waterfront views, historic homes, and landmarks.
But don’t let the charm fool you, this course brings the perfect balance of enjoyment and challenge, and that’s just how our runners like it! There’s a reason we’re called Bridge2Bridge. 12K and Half Marathon participants literally cross Georgetown’s iconic bridges along Highway 17, taking in incredible views, all with the safety and support of local police patrol.
The 12K and Half Marathon routes also send you over four stunning rivers: the Waccamaw, Pee Dee, Black, and Sampit. Half Marathoners go the extra mile (or few!) through Cravens Grant before looping back to the Historic District for a grand finish in front of the Maritime Museum. The 5K course does not leave the Historic District of Georgetown and finishes at the same place as the other races.
Whether you're in it for the sights, the bridges, or the challenge this race is an experience you won’t forget.
Good to knows...

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pickup will be available on March 28th from 3:00 - 6:00 pm @ the Maritime Park - 725 Front Street, Georgetown, SC 29440 (next to the SC Maritime Museum).

Race Weather and Climate
The weather conditions in the Georgetown area during March are generally very comfortable. Temperatures average between low temperature of 45F and average high is 70F. The monthly average rainfall in March is 4.4 inches well below the midsummer average of 7+ inches per month.

Mandatory Cut Offs
To help keep everyone safe and on schedule, the Half Marathon includes mandatory cut-off points that all participants must meet. If for any reason the race has a delayed start, these cut-off times will remain the same and will not be adjusted. If you happen to fall behind the required pace, our friendly SAG wagon will pick you up and bring you back to the finish area. Runners that participate in the 12K and the Half Marathon must be to the Half Marathon mile 12 marker and off Highway 17 by 10am.

4 Miles - 8:00 AM - if you arrive here after the cutoff, you will be turned around and switched to the 12K.
6.5 Miles - 8:38 AM
10 Miles - 9:30 AM
12 Miles - 10:00 AM

Walkers are Welcome
We recommend walkers do the 12K or 5K, but if you choose to walk and fall behind pace, you will be picked up by the SAG wagon.

Pet Policy
As much as we love our furry friends, dogs (and other pets) are not permitted on the course for any race distance. This is to ensure the safety of all runners and spectators. Thanks for understanding and helping us keep Bridge2Bridge safe and fun for everyone.

Stroller Policy
Strollers are welcome in the 5K race! So, yes...bring the little ones along for the fun! For everyone’s safety, we only ask that our stroller participants start at the back of the start line.
Post-Race Experience

Come for the race. Stay for the party!
The race fun doesn’t stop at the finish line!
Join us for live music and a beer garden open to participants, spectators, and residents alike. While every runner receives a well-earned finisher medal, age group winners will be celebrated with special medals during our Post-Race Awards Show following the race at Maritime Park.
Let's celebrate, together!
