Runner Information

Runner Packets

Runners can pick up packets on Friday, November 1st from 5pm-8pm at the Quality Inn.  Race day registration will be available from 6am-7:15am on Saturday, November 2nd at the Maritime Park (next to the Maritime Museum - 725 Front St, Georgetown, SC) near the starting line. Registration will close at 7:25am. Those that preregistered will be able to pick up their packets until 7:45am.

 

Runners that register by 11:59pm on October 1st will receive personalized bibs and will have the option of a long sleeve cotton t-shirt or a short sleeve ladies or mens tech shirt.  Shirt size and style will be guaranteed.  All runners that register after October 1st @ 11:59pm will NOT be guaranteed a shirt and will NOT have a personalized bib.

Race Start

Location - clock tower on Front Street (at the intersection of Screven Street)

  • 7:30am - 13.1 and 12K

  • 7:45am - 5K

Entertainment and Finish Line

Tidelands Health Rehabilitations Services will have massage tents near the finish line for massages from their Trainers and Therapists. Will Ness will perform under the tent at the Finish Line.  A beer garden will be located in the Maritime Park with beer provided by Quigleys for $4 each.  Runners (over the age of 21) receive 1 complimentary ticket.

Race Timing Company

We are pleased to announce that Precision Race will be timing our event this year.  Precision Race uses the state-of-the-art Jaguar 5.0 disposable chip timing system by Innovative Timing Systems, providing participants unparalleled ease of use and quick, accurate results.

  • Bridge Elevations:

    • - Pee Dee

    • - Waccamaw

    • - Sampit

  • Historic Landmarks and beautiful scenery along the course

  • Partially Closed Course - runners on the bridges will feel safe and secure as the traffic will travel in a single lane on the south bound side of Hwy 17 for miles 2-6 and again on the south bound lanes for miles 7 & 8 and 11 & 12. Interections of the downtown roads will be staffed with police and volunteers.
